Re-development of old site makes way for private residencies for Dun Laoghaire using Flood Super Wideslab.

Flood Super Wideslab and precast stairs were provided to this re-development that has enhanced the area.

Lighthouse Apartment Complex which was a re-development of the previously site of the Iceland Supermarket on Lower Georges Street in Dun Laoghaire was completed at the start of 2015.

Flood Precast provided our customer with our Super Wideslab®’s and our Precast concrete stairs for this re-development.

Flood Super Wideslab® was a perfect solution for these residential apartments as it has been tested under the Building Regulation Part E -Resistance to the passage of sound, it surpasses the regulatory requirements by a significant margin.

The aim of these regulations is to improve the sound insulation both between and within dwellings and within residential homes, hotels and hostels as the minimum performance value for separating floors is 45 dB DnTw+Ctr or higher.

This re-development provides private apartments for the area which are located at the heart of Dun Laoghaire’s main retail and consumer thoroughfare. The property lies approx. 500 metres from the Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre and lies adjacent to the DART, bus routes and the seafront.
