In conjunction with PM Group and Banagher Concrete, Flood Precast provided 10,000m2 of Flood Super Wideslab for this project at Glanbia new state-of-the-art dairy processing and nutritional development facility which was 15 acre Greenfield site located at Belview, Co. Kilkenny, this was known as Glanbia Project Purple.

The benefits of Flood Precast Flood Super Wideslab allowed all the structural and architectural visions for the complex geometry of the design to be realised to the highest standard of quality.

One of requirements the Diary Industry Hygiene guidelines that all manufacturing plants to have a clean surface environment. Flood Precast were able to provide this with the use of our Flood Super wideslab. We provided a precast slab that had a high quality exposed soffit finish which could be directly painted and act as a ceiling.The precast soffits were incorporated into the design to help with the thermal mass of the building

This development has the capacity to produce up to 100,000 tonnes of nutritional dairy powders a year, making it one of the biggest facilities of its kind in Europe.
