Benefits of using Precast Stairs with Steel Frame Buildings

Flood Precast provided precast stairs to our customer Snashall Steel Fabrications for Cleeve School project. Precast Stairs used in conjunction with structural steel frame buildings offer benefits over alternative structural solutions, such as in-situ concrete, masonry and timber.

All stair and landing units are designed in-house, manufactured, delivered and installed to the highest standards. Precast stairs can be placed along with precast concrete flooring products, giving immediate safe access to upper floors quickly and efficiently. All precast stair and landing units are designed in accordance with relevant BS and Euro codes.

Precast concrete staircases are an economical and effective means of providing stairs in steel frame buildings and in any structure. Flood precast designed stairs are a major element in any successful construction programme. Flood Precast are able to provide bespoke configurations of precast stairs to suit the requirements of our clients/customers.

Our manufacturing plant in Ireland is fully equipped with a range of standard but fully adjustable moulds that will accommodate most stair layouts. Lifting points are cast in at our plant, which makes on-site installation, safe, quick, and easy
