Project Information: Cheltenham Racecourse – New Grandstand Concrete Stairs
This project was designed by Roberts Limbrick Architects, which included the construction of a 6,500 capacity grandstand as well as a refurbishment of the parade rings to the north side of the racecourse, with some of the oldest existing buildings within the racecourse replaced.
Testimonial from Ben Ramsay Operations Director – Kier.
“This was a tremendous effort and achievement on such a prestigious project, and I would like to thank you for your contribution on this.”
The new grandstand opened in November 2015, two months ahead of schedule and within its original £45m budget.
Flood Precast provided Precast Concrete Stairs for this project with a Class A surface finish.
“We are delighted to be working with Kier again, and proud to be able to showcase our skills at one of the Top race courses in the UK,”
“It was a pleasure and great opportunity to work with Ben Ramsay, Andy Bolas, Paul Fowles and the great team at Kier that were involved with Cheltenham Racecourse refurbishment.”
